About the Artist
Connie Glasgow Fine Art Painter

Connie is an artist currently residing in Northern Indiana.

Connie lives in Northern Indiana with her husband and three dogs. Her children and grandchildren all live in the area. She previously lived in Salem, Oregon where she was widely recognized for her paintings. The beauty of the landscape in Oregon was tremendously inspiring for her with the extreme contrasts of the ocean, mountains, rolling hills and vineyards.

Connie attended Pine Manor Junior College outside Boston, Massachusetts. Although she was not an art major, she has always had a natural talent for drawing and painting. She paints in pastel, oil and watercolor. Her current medium of choice is pastel. It lets her show her passion of the scene with the power of her strokes.
She has studied pastels with Kitty Wallis in Portland, Richard McDaniel in the Sonoma Valley and Margot Schulzke in the High Sierra Mountains of California.

Connie has recieved many awards for her work both regionally and nationally. She was awarded numerous "Best of Show" prizes.

While living in Oregon, Connie was represented by the Mary Lou Zeek gallery in Salem and others at the Oregon coast, Sisters and Joseph, Oregon.

She currently is showing at the Arts and Antiques Gallery at Flytraps in downtown Elkhart. She is active in the Northern Indiana Pastel Society.
